Participatory memorial project. This memorial refers to a rose that was found during the exhumation of grave No. 128 (Paterna) in 2018. The rose was probably placed by a (female?) relative as an act of resistance in 1940 when the grave was open. Participants -most of them women involved in the memorial movement with whom I have a very close and special bond- receive a rose bush and soil from a mass grave, which they replant. Afterwards they send me photos of the roses. The archive contains more than 200 pictures of roses.
Roses of Teresa Llopis, Xaro Laporta, Pilar Taberner, Maria Navarro and Elena Solanas.
